Agri-food Industry, Food and Nutrition

This department develops activities in the areas of Agri-food Industry, Food and Beverage Quality Analyses and Control; Science and Technology of Animal and Vegetable Origin Food; Food Safety and Security; Sugar and Alcohol Technology. It offers undergraduate courses for programs in Agriculture and Food Science, the last one being coordinated by this department. Its faculty participates in a graduate program in Food Science and Technology.
