Nomination

Partner universities should email international.esalq@usp.br. They will then receive a link to fill in the Nomination Form, which requires student data and a recommendation letter from the home institution.

Application

Once nominated, the student will receive an email to apply in Mundus/USP. The following documents must be uploaded:

  • Application form
  • Official transcripts (English or Portuguese version)
  • Passport page with personal details
  • Photo in jpeg (max. 50k)

Deadlines

Student Visa

After acceptance, the International Office issues the Letter of Acceptance required for the Student Visa (Temporary IV) at the Brazilian consulate.
To finalize enrollment, the home university must send a copy of the visa and proof of life and health insurance.
Tourist visas are not accepted for enrollment.

Tuition & Fees

USP is a public university and does not charge tuition or fees. Scholarships for international students are generally not available.

Accommodation

Esalq/USP does not offer housing for exchange students.

Exchange Opportunities

Esalq/USP offers programs in Agriculture, Forestry, Economics, Management, Food Science, Biological Sciences, and Environmental Management. Options include short-term studies and a Double Degree in Agriculture and Forestry with French partner institutions.
